These terms apply to the use of this site and the paid files. They are written in plain words. They do not exclude rights the law does not allow to be excluded.

Accuracy

The register is our statement of the requirement and the guidance, in our own words. It is not the official text. We check it against the held source and the official ISO page, but the official text and your certification body's current programme control. Check the current official text before you rely on a line.

Trademarks and copyright

ISO, IEC, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27003 are trademarks of their respective owners. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by ISO or IEC. The official standards are copyrighted and are not reproduced here. The site's own text, layout and files are copyright The Art of Service Pty Ltd.

What the paid kit is

The kit is a working file built from the same record as the free pages. It is licensed to the organization that buys it. A consultant may use it with client organizations but may not resell it. It is not a certification, an audit opinion or legal advice.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a guarantee applies and the failure is not a major failure, the remedy is limited to a resupply of the file or a refund of the price, at our choice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or the files. The files are a reference. The organization remains responsible for its own conformity, its own evidence and its own decisions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia. The courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
